Overview:
To effectively use Consight's estimator-specific worksheet, navigate the Division Worksheet interface, customize columns, upload bids, manage scope sheets, and level subcontractor bids with AI.
Rundown
Step 1: Navigate the Division Worksheet
From your Consight dashboard, navigate to BudgetBuilder by clicking the icon on the left hand side bar
Select the specific division (e.g., "08 80 00 Glazing") to view all bids for that trade
The worksheet will be blank unless you created a new project with a template that includes line items. It also won't have subcontractor columns unless you uploaded bids directly to the division, in which case, sub columns with bids will automatically appear in the work sheet.
You'll see columns titled line items, quantities, units come standard.
Base Bid and Leveled Price rows show total costs at the top of the worksheet

Step 2: Customize Worksheet Columns
Click the column menu (three dots) next to any bidder's name
Select "Column Filter" to show/hide specific information
Use "Pin Column" to keep important columns visible while scrolling
"Autosize This Column" or "Autosize All Columns" to optimize viewing
"Rename Column" to change bidder display names
"Delete Column" to remove a bidder from your view
Award contract selects the bidder and displays their leveled bid price on the Budget Summary
Selecting disqualify will let Consight AI know this sub had serious errors in their bid. This will be recorded in Contacts for future reference.
Press email subcontractor to send a quick message to the sub
Step 3: Manage Scope Sheet Items
View scope items numbered in the leftmost column
Each row shows a specific scope item (e.g., "Storefront System - AFG451T Series"). You can add scope items from a template, copy and paste from Excel, write them in manually, or even leave it blank and let BudgetBuilder build your division scope directly from the subcontractor's bids.
Input quantities from the plans into the required quantity column (or leave blank). Adding required quantities will activate automatic cell coloring when there are quantity discrepencies.
View units (ft², ea, ls) in the Units column. Units will be automatically added based off the sub bids.
Resize rows by dragging the bottom line just like you would in Excel.
Re-order rows by clicking and dragging the 9 dots on the far left hand side of the row.
Delete rows by right clicking and pressing delete. You can select multiple rows to batch delete.
If you added additional sections, you can scroll down the page to view them. Running autocomplete will automatically populate these sections with relevant information from your subcontractor's bid. You can collapse or expand these sections by clicking the arrow.
